Patrolman John F. McSweeney Jr.

John was known as Jack or Mac and was a real gentleman. He was appointed in September of 1967 and last served as an accident investigator in Traffic. He was always upbeat and never had a bad word for anyone. He passed in the middle of his career to cancer and left a huge hole in the UPD when he did. RIP brother, you will never be forgotten. John Passed away May 6, 1994.

Patrolman Nick J. Ventura

Appointed in September of 1967 Nick joined a little bit later than other candidates and the reason is unknown to this day. Nick was a natural born leader full of vim and vigor and never at a loss for words. He was a champion for right and a defender of the underdog. Never had to wonder what was on his mind, his face and his words would tell it all. A pleasure to be around. Never boring, never condencending, never apprppro. Nick succummed to cancer early on in his career and is missed by everybody who knew and loved him.

Patrolman Samual Marconi Jr.

Sam was a very knowledgeable Police Officer who exemplified the profession.
