Appointed in September of 1967 Nick joined a little bit later than other candidates and the reason is unknown to this day. Nick was a natural born leader full of vim and vigor and never at a loss for words. He was a champion for right and a defender of the underdog. Never had to wonder what was on his mind, his face and his words would tell it all. A pleasure to be around. Never boring, never condencending, never apprppro. Nick succummed to cancer early on in his career and is missed by everybody who knew and loved him.
